Tutors
All our tutors have excelled in the subjects that they teach, and will be able to pass on valuable information and study techniques regarding that subject. The tutors are all University students and will come to your home for the lessons.

Lessons
A home based tuition service which assists the learner in the existing school curriculum and functions as a support structure. Lessons are given one-on-one and are 1 hour in length unless otherwise arranged. Lesson times are allocated according to the tutor’s timetable and available time slots.

The first lesson
Your child’s tutor will arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled lesson, in order to become acquainted with your child and also to ensure that all the formalities are taken care of.

Teaching Materials
Your tutor will be giving the lesson using a number of materials, in addition to the books your child is issued with at school.

These will include: recommended text books, past papers (from Gr8) and notes

Homework
If the tutor feels it is necessary, homework will be set after each lesson. The learner should take the homework set seriously, as it will be checked at the beginning of the next lesson.

Progress Charts
Your tutor will be keeping an account of the work covered in each lesson, as well as work planned for the next lesson and any homework that was set.

Progress Reports
A report back is given to the parents at significant intervals, in order to keep you informed of your child’s progress.
